THE SPA OF TOLOX

Situation and climate

The Spa of Tolox is situated near Tolox, a picturesque village of 3,500 inhabitants, at 55 Km from Málaga and 45 Km from the Costa del Sol. It is 360 meters over the sea level and its climate is very similar to the one of this Coast, with small degree of humidity.

The spring and its waters.

The waters of this bathingplace are classified as nitrogenous, oligometallic and radioactivic. Its flow is of 14,000 liters per day with a constant temperature of 21º degrees.

Inhalation and drinking.

The water in pulverizations reduces bronchuses inflamation and secretion. As a drink, it acts on the kidneys and urinary tracts as a diuretic. The gases of the spring produce a considerable soathing action on respiratory system irritated states.

Indications.

Rhinitis, Pharingitis, Smokers and drinkers hyperaestesia, Laryngitis, Allergical catarrth, Bronchial asthma, Children asthma, Bronchitis, Pulmonary emphysema, Renal lithiasis. (Note: These waters are contraindicated for tuberculous process).
